Limbo The young and the young at heart always enjoy the classic beach game of "limbo". Try using a string of twinkle lights, a strand of sparkly garland, a bamboo pole, a flashlight (lights out), or any item to match your theme for your limbo stick. For a fun variation on the game, make it a little more challenging by adding a "Super Stomach" to guests as they take their turn. Have a couple of oversized shirts, and some fluffy pillows on hand. Who's The Murderer? All except the detective sit in a
circle while the detective waits outside. One person from the circle is
elected to be the murderer, and then the Detective is called back to stand
in the circle. When he is ready, the Murderer winks at people in the
circle. Anyone who sees that they have been winked at lets out a
blood-curdling scream and dies. The Detective has three attempts to guess
the murderer. Toothpick and Lifesaver Race First divide your group into 2
teams, each team will need to be lined up facing the forward. Then take a
bunch of toothpicks, give each person a tooth pick and then the person at
the beginning of the line gets the lifesaver. Before you begin everybody
puts the toothpicks into their mouth and then the captain (first person in
line) puts a lifesaver on the toothpick. the object is to pass the
lifesaver from team member to team member using only the toothpick, no
hands! The first team to pass it down to the end end of the line wins. Clue Treasure Hunt Game Place a clue taped to a toy or candy
in a piñata or announce that an envelope or package has been delivered
and addressed to All. (Just find a way to introduce the first clue) When
the clue falls out or is given to the guests the hunt begins and they will
follow the clues to find a "treasure". The "treasure"

Best
Costume
I always hold a competition for the best costume. One female and one male is voted for by the crowd. I make up ballots and throughout the night people fill them out and drop them into a ballot box I’ve made from an old shoe box. At midnight I count up the votes and announce the two winners. I usually give prizes of alcohol, but you may want to give them something else. Name That Tune Every Year we pick a different theme of songs for people to guess. We play about 15 seconds of a song max. and wait until someone gets it right. It is easiest to put the songs into your computer and then a burn a single disc especially for this game. Themes we’ve done are 90’s sitcoms (ie. Blossom, Fresh Prince etc.), Horror movie main songs (ie, tubular bells from the exorcist), and 80’s hair bands (ie. Poison and White Snake and Motley Crue). I usually make up those little candy bags full of treats and throw them at people when they get the song right and at the end the person with the most bags wins a prize (Ie. booze as per usual). 50/50 Draw We hold a 50/50 draw with the
tickets at a dollar. We get half (to help cover some costs of the party)
and the winner gets half and a bottle of liquor. You can buy numbered
tickets at a dollar store and tear them in half if they don’t come in
pairs. Guess The Movie Monster I go to google and search different movie monsters and download the pics into Photoshop. I then skew the images and print them out. I write on the back who they are so that I know and I give out the prize to the one who gets the most right. ( Always keep extra prizes on hand in the event of a tie.) Examples:
Bram Stoker's Mike Myers (Halloween) Dracula Pass The Orange, Ball, etc. Arrange for teams of about 8 to stand in a line, one behind the other (arranged boy, girl, boy,...). Give each team an orange which the first person should tuck under his chin. This should be passed to the person behind. When the orange gets to the last person, they come to the front of the line and start again. The winning team is the first one which gets their starting person to the front again. Two Truths, One Lie - Get To Know You Game This is a great game for people trying to get to know each other. Everyone sits in a circle and takes turns telling 3 things about themselves, one of them is a lie. Example: I have been to every continent in the world. I won't use green towels. I once had a ferret but it was killed by my cat. Then everyone else guesses/votes on which is the lie. It's really funny to see what people come up with for their lie and you learn a lot of funny truths too. Socks and Gloves This is a stunt or game. As a party
stunt ask for 3-6 enthusiastic volunteers and for a party set a time limit
to see who gets the most socks on. Cotton ball Game Supplies: Wooden Spoons Guess someone's identity by feeling
them with wooden spoons. 2
wooden spoons required. One of the guests is blindfolded, and sits upon a
chair. He or she is then given two large wooden spoons, such as in common
use in every kitchen for stirring puddings, cakes, and so on. Halloween Guessing Game Object of the game: You pass around
paper cups to your guests while telling the story below. Do it in the dark
or in a semi dark room and tell them they can't look in the cups. The cups
are filled with "gross body parts" (food) and guests have to
guess what it really is. Here's The Story: "Once in this town there lived a man named Hal O. Ween. T'was years ago, on this very night, that he was murdered out of spite. They say these are his remains. Here is his brain, which now feels no pain.use a peeled squishy tomato or stewed tomatoes Here are his eyes, still frozen with surprise. use two frozen, peeled grapes or black olives Here is his heart. Be careful lest it start! use a large lump of uncooked liver or similar meat Now we have his hair, which once was so fair! use a handful of corn silk or wet fur or yarn Feel these drops of his blood. All the rest turned to mud. use a little catsup thinned with warm water One hand all alone, just rotting flesh and bone. use a wet latex glove filled with red gelatin Now touch his ear. He nevermore will hear! use a dried apricot or similar dried fruit This is his nose. T'will never smell a rose |
